Amongst the many memes and jokes made about Bronny James becoming a Laker, the funniest one by far has to do with his mother Savannah James. Most of the jokes have been linked to the possible or alleged nepotism after Bronny was drafted by the Lakers when his father is in the middle of negotiations to remain at the team. Also, most of the jokes and reactions have been mean-spirited against the kid. Even his father decided to unfollow journalist Rachel Nichols after she criticized Bronny’s arrival to the Lakers. LeBron has very little time for vitriol and criticism he deems unwarranted. As a father of the kid, he obviously feels hurt at everything negative coming his way.

Savannah James reacts to another joke that involves her

Savannah James is naturally also protective of the kid, she was right there shedding a tearn when he was announced as a new Lakers player and it was a beautiful moment. What came after was tough to swallow but there was a joke that did get a laugh out of Savannah James. An internet user said: “It has been discovered that LeBron James is sleeping with his newest teammate’s mom.” She immeditely reacted through her Instagram stories with a laughing emoji and made everybody laugh out loud with her. But the reality is that the road will be upwards for Bronny.

As far as Bronny, there has been some level of reaction from his part through his social media accounts. He posted a video where he is making comparisons of his father and him shooting hoops before the annoucement. After the announcement, he posted multiple celebrating images and edited graphics of the achievement. Clearly, Bronny James is thrilled of what he is currently experiencing and happy for what’s coming for him. It’s good to know that despite all the criticism, Savannah James can still take a joke like the one she reacted to.
