This year’s edition has already sparked discussions, especially with the highly anticipated reveal of the top 100 player ratings, which saw Nikola Jokic, Luka Doncic, and Giannis Antetokounmpo claim the top three spots.
Securing the highest rating in the game, Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic has been crowned the best player in NBA 2K25 with a 97 overall rating.
Jokic’s remarkable consistency and impact on the court have once again earned him this accolade, following a season where he averaged 26.4 points, 12.4 rebounds, and 9.0 assists per game.
His stellar performance in the NBA and on the international stage, where he nearly led Serbia to a victory against Team USA in the 2024 Paris Olympics, solidified his position at the top.
Close behind Jokic is Dallas Mavericks phenom Luka Doncic, who also boasts a 97 overall rating.
Despite sharing the same overall score as Jokic, Doncic falls just short in specific attributes, placing him second on the list.
Doncic’s 2023-24 season was nothing short of spectacular, highlighted by his career-high 73 points in a single game and his averages of 33.9 points, 9.8 assists, and 9.2 rebounds.
Rounding out the top three is Milwaukee Bucks’ powerhouse Giannis Antetokounmpo, also rated 97 overall.
Like Doncic, Giannis was just shy of overtaking Jokic due to a slight difference in attributes.
