It’s usually uncommon for an NFL team’s season to be truly over before we even reach October, but that might very well be the case for the 2024 Miami Dolphins. Given the sheer talent the team possesses on offense, expectations were high coming into this season. But everything was derailed when Tua Tagovailoa suffered yet another concussion a couple of weeks ago.
Even when Tagovailoa was playing, the team wasn’t playing well anyway. But without the quarterback, the whole team has cratered. That was amplified on Monday Night Football, when they essentially had no chance despite the 0-3 Tennessee Titans having to turn to backup QB Mason Rudolph.
With the team at 1-3, fans turning on head coach Mike McDaniel and Tua’s status for the rest of the season uncertain, many have begun wondering if they might trade away some pieces before the deadline. National reporter John Middlekauff has come out and suggested they ship off superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill.
Tyreek Hill will NOT be traded back to Chiefs
Despite the Kansas City Chiefs being an obvious choice to trade for Hill given he played there before and the team has lost two starting wide receivers to injuries, Middlekauff has heard from sources that it’s not happening.
That is 100% not happening. The Chiefs aren’t going back down that road. That’s an ex they’re not calling for a booty call.
Middlekauff then mentions the Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills and Dallas Cowboys as possible destinations. But for the price of a first round pick, it may be too much to give up for teams in contention.
