McManus has a field goal percentage of 81.4 and just days removed from being cleared of facing possible discipline after the NFL investigated the assault claims made by two women and found that the evidence was not sufficient.

The legal matter will continue

Brandon McManus still faces a civil lawsuit in Duval County Circuit Court from the two women who alleged that the also former Denver Broncos kicker assaulted them during a team flight to London with the Jaguars back in 2023.

Interestingly enough, the women also sued the Jaguars for not ensuring their safety on the flight, however, after the conclusion of the NFL’s investigation, many teams showed immediate interest in signing the veteran kicker.

The Green Bay Packers released kicker Brayden Narveson and signed McManus on Tuesday, winning the sweepstakes for McManus over the New York Jets and the Washington Commanders. Narveson missed an NFL-high five field goals attempts in the season.
