It’s sad enough that Dak Prescott has been diagnosed with a hamstring injury after Week 9’s game against the Atlanta Falcons, but now the Dallas Cowboys quarterback is facing hard accusations.
Fox Sports analyst James Jones did not hold back on his thoughts on Prescott. “It ain’t even funny, like, my man (is) quittin’ on these dudes,” the former Green Bay Packers wideout said on the network’s new show “The Facility.”
“I’ve had a hamstring plenty of times, and I’m back the next week. I’m not no Tyreek Hill. It don’t take no four weeks for you to heal from no hamstring. You’re not Lamar Jackson. You’re not Jalen Hurts. You’re not running. Where are you running to,” Jones added.
From criticism to concern
The Dallas Cowboys have placed Dak Prescott on Injury Reserve, meaning that the signal caller will be out at least the following four weeks. This also means that a replacement will have to take his spot.
Cooper Rush is in line to start against the Philadelphia Eagles, a quarterback that has not looked bad but again, there is a reason why he is not the starter and there is always the Trey Lance project.
The former San Francisco 49ers quarterback had a lot of upside but the team traded him in order to have Brock Purdy as a solid number one and now many are calling for Lance to start maybe believing that he could be the future of the Dallas Cowboys.
