Jalen Brunson gets spanked by New York Knicks teammate during live interview: “I going to beat your…”

New York Knicks captain Jalen Brunson is one of the most consistent NBA players in recent history and his skills earned him a spot on the 2024 NBA All Star Game as well as 2024 All-NBA Second Team Honors.

He just completed his second season with the Knicks while posting career numbers of 28.7 ppg on 47.9 percent shooting, 211 made three pointers on 40.1 percent shooting, 6.7 assists per game and 3.6 rebounds per game.

The future is bright for the Knicks with the addition of superstar Karl-Anthony Towns who they got as part of a three-team trade with the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Charlotte Hornets on October 2nd.

Jalen Brunson threats to beat up one of his teammates

Jalen Brunson was being interviewed Saturday night after registering a game-high 39 points (13-19 FG, 7-10 3Pt, 6-6 FT), one rebound, six assists and two steals in 40 minutes during Saturday’s 104-93 win over New Orleans Pelicans.

It was business as usual except for one thing: when Brunson was talking about the game, his teammate, guard Miles McBride, decided to spank his butt. The instant reaction from Brunson was one of anger and disbelief as to what had happened.

“I am gonna beat the s*** out of you, dawg. Oh My God! Oh My God! Sorry, what was your question?” Brunson said as he was trying to move away from feeling anger to just being shocked and then finally embarrassed.

“Now, you do realize that you are on live television, right?” the person that was interviewing the basketball player asked.

“I know, I know, I’m sorry, I’m sorry” Brunson replied as he felt ashamed of his choice of words on national television. Let`s just hope things don’t escalate and that the Knicks can find a way to cheer for each other without having to touch other bodies.

Knicks look to improve and make a deep run in the playoffs

The New York Knicks want to make their fans excited about the 2024-2025 season and so far things are looking good for the team. They are currently on 3rd place of the Eastern Conference with a 18-10 record, just below the Boston Celtics and the young Cleveland Cavaliers.

It’s amazing how much the Knicks have overhauled their roster in the last 10 months, adding OG Anunoby, Mikal Bridges and Karl-Anthony Towns. Of course, Jalen Brunson remains the centerpiece.

The Towns trade left the Knicks a little thin (and small) on the wings, and the injuries have left them thin up front. It’s probably not yet time for Josh Hart to play 48 minutes a night, so some inexperienced guys will need to be thrown into the fire and the Knicks might not have the rebounding advantage that they’ve had in the past.
