WNBA star Angel Reese clearly felt she had better things to do in Las Vegas than watch Bronny James and the Los Angeles Lakers lose to the Boston Celtics. When she snuck out of her courtside seats early hand in hand with her date for the night in Sin City, everybody stopped and looked.
Angel Reese leaves Lakers game early
Reese attracts the eyes of fans everywhere she goes, thanks to her bold style, cover model status, and proclivity for hanging out with stars.
It was no different on Monday night, when she was joined courtside by NBA Finals MVP Jaylen Brown . Brown made headlines for what he said about Bronny James during the game against his Celtics.
Reunited with an old teammate
The Celtics wing was not the one holding hands with Reese. In fact, they shared the same date in Las Vegas that night. As she left the Thomas & Mack Center, the Chi Town Barbie held hands with Kysre Gondrezick, a former Chicago teammate who was waived after the season started by the Sky. She is rumored to be dating Brown, which left Reese as the “third wheel” most of the night.
Reese and Gondrezick formed a close relationship during their short time as teammates. When they linked back up in Las Vegas for the NBA Summer League game, Reese posted an Instagram story captioned “I missed youuuu ughhhh” that showed a video of Gondrezick blowing her a kiss.
Exciting times for Angel Reese
With the WNBA entering its break for the 2024 Olympic Games, Reese will have plenty of opportunities to pop out in new places and “make the most of her 24 hours,” as she famously said when she attended the Met Gala during preseason.
During the break she will also feature in the WNBA All-Star Game, teaming up with rookie rival Caitlin Clark as the WNBA All-Stars take on the USA Olympic Basketball team in a compelling new format on Saturday, July 20.
