Davis makes prison jokes at his expense

Davis took to social media shortly after his sentencing to address the situation in a rather unconventional manner.

Instead of expressing remorse or humility, Davis opted for humor, cracking jokes about his impending prison stint during an Instagram Live session.

Making light of his predicament, he joked about his eating habits and even made explicit remarks, seemingly unfazed by the severity of his situation.

In the video Glen can be seen talking to the camera saying that the only way to get him to stop eating hamburguers and cheetos was to send him to prision.

Despite the gravity of his conviction, Davis’s nonchalant attitude on social media left many scratching their heads.

It’s a stark departure from his days on the court, where he was known for his intensity and competitive spirit.

Now, facing the prospect of time behind bars, Davis’s demeanor has raised concerns about his well-being.

Davis played in the NBA for 8 seasons

The former Boston Celtics star was sentenced to 40 months in prison due to his involvement in a healthcare fraud scheme targeting the NBA’s benefits care package for players.

This scheme, which spanned over four years, saw Davis and a group of ex-players pocketing more than $5 million through fake insurance claims.

Among the accused were recognizable names such as Will Bynum, Sebastian Telfair, and Terrance Williams.

Davis, along with several others, faced charges including wire fraud, conspiracy to make false statements, and conspiracy to commit healthcare fraud.

Throughout his NBA career, Davis was a formidable presence on the court, most notably during his tenure with the Boston Celtics, where he played a key role in their 2008 championship run.

However, his recent legal troubles have overshadowed his achievements on the hardwood, tarnishing his reputation in the eyes of many sports fans.
