Julia Roberts and Travis Kelce were spotted speaking to each other when Taylor Swift landed in Dublin, Ireland on June 30 for one of her Eras Tour stops.
The two were a few of the big names taking in the show from the VIP tent, however the actresses’ behavior has attracted plenty of interest online.
A fan’s Tiktok video showed what looked like Roberts tickling and rubbing Kelce’s arm as they spoke, and then Kelce laughing as he put his hands on her arms.
Roberts has been married to Daniel Moder since 2022.
What did Roberts say?
With plenty of critics calling out Roberts for her behavior, lip reader Jackie Gonzalez has given her take on the conversation.
In an Instagram clip, she alleges that Roberts told Kelce: “‘I’m so unusually happy for you guys, and I don’t mean to make you nervous, but it makes me so happy.'”
Gonzalez, a deaf artist, has shot to fame on social media and even competed on Netflix’s ‘Squid Game: The Challenge’ in 2023.
After the show, Kelce was seen leaving the concert with Swift while the two waved to fans. While all seemed well between the two, that hasn’t stopped outsiders from weighing in on the interaction.
Reaction to the conversation
The parents of comedian Nikki Glaser, Julie and Edward, made fun of the two after attending the same show.
“She’s so gross,” Julie said in a video on Nikki’s Instagram.
“Isn’t that a little much?” said Nikki. “She just wants to get in there.”
Edward went so far as to claim Kelce was trying to get away from Roberts.
“She’s trying to French kiss him right now! Just kidding. She would,” said Julie.
While the two had plenty of jokes, they then apologized.
“I probably should’ve said something different than the word ‘gross,'” Julie said. “It’s a weird word. It’s not a nice word … So, I’m issuing an apology right now for using the word ‘gross,’ but I think it was really weird.”
“I meant to say just weird, not gross and weird. So nix the gross.”
