Everyone knows that the New York Knicks and the Orlando Magic have an intense rivalry but know a new chapter between these two has started after Karl-Anthony Towns and Mo Wagner nearly started throwing punches.
During their game on Tuesday night, KAT had the ball, and Mo was on him on defense. Both of them got very physical while looking to hold their ground. Wagner seemed to play good defense and no foul was called on their initial encounter.
Karl-Anthony Town ended scoring though, it was a good fadeaway jumper but after another pay in which Wagner caused an offensive foul, the referees called both players for a double technical.
These two were looking for it
During the whole game the two players were playing very intense as it was an important game early in the season. The Magic were looking good at the beginning but it was the Knicks with the victory at the end.
It was a 121 to 106 final score it proved to be an important one not only in their overall record as Orlando now has a 15-7 record, and with the win the Knicks improved to 12-8 in the season.
But also it was part of the NBA Emirates Cup and with this, New York remains undefeated with a 4-0 record and Orlando dropped to 3-1 to second place in Group A, as both teams are battling for the top spot.
