Luka Doncic could be the latest star targeted by a South American band of thieves after the Dallas Mavericks ace’s home was raided in a similar fashion to the NFL’s Patrick Mahomes, Joe Burrow and Travis Kelce.

For months, NBA and NFL players have been targeted in burglaries across the United States with the Milwaukee Bucks’ Bobby Portis, Boston Celtics’ Jaylen Brown and Minnesota Timberwolves’ Mike Conley Jr. also hit.

The FBI are investigating the matter and the 25-year-old Slovenian has already reported his incident to local law enforcement, with his business manager, Lara Beth Seager, saying the family are safe and were not home, as per Marc Stein.

Officers referred the matter to the FBI when law enforcement across different counties and states connected the dots and thus began to believe the break-ins were all connected, with the Bureau later believing a South American network to be behind them.

“Obviously, it’s frustrating, disappointing,” Mahomes told reporters in October, after his house was burgled on the 8th of the month. “I can’t get into too many of the details because the investigation is still ongoing.
