Dallas Cowboys star Micah Parsons has hit back at some recent comments from Malik Hooker about the podcast he does.
The two Cowboys players are not seeing eye to eye and it will be an early season concern for the team. A public war of words between players is clearly far from helpful when it comes to morale and concentration.
Hooker recently appeared on Keyshawn Johnson’s podcast and made some surprising comments about his teammate who has launched a podcast of his own.
“My advice for Micah would be just make sure we’re all right,” Hooker said, per NBC Sports’ Charean Williams.
“Because if we’re at work and the run game’s terrible, but you’re doing a podcast every week and you know the run game is terrible, then what are you really caring about? Are you caring about the crowd that was watching the podcast or are you caring about the success of our team and the Super Bowl that we’re trying to reach?”
Parsons hits back
Many fans would likely agree with Hooker’s comments, but Parsons does not agree with the manner in which he has shared these thoughts.
He thinks that Hooker should have come to him rather than share them on, ironically, a podcast.
“Just wish you said this to me but instead on some podcast! And you got my number family! @MalikHooker24 and you my locker mate!” Parsons wrote in a now-deleted post on X.
“So you coulda said this any day! And you do realize I shoot the podcast on our off day! Why ain’t we talking about everyone preparations and focus?”
