Jonathan Owens is a good player, but he has been making more headlines lately because of the success if his wife. Simone Biles is absolutely exceeding at the Paris Olympic Games and her husband has been to support her.

While Owens was in Paris with a special permit from his team, the Chicago Bears, he has flown back to the United States to be ready for practice and the NFL preseason. He did not play in the Hall Of Game against the Houston Texans but he is now ready as he reported back this Sunday and was on the field for the Bears.

A fan approached him enough to yell and ask if he missed Green Bay, referring about his former team the Packers, and he answered very short, but very clear. “Absolutely not” he said, leaving pretty clear that h is very much ok with the fact that he is not with his former team, however he will have to face them twice a year in the oldest rivalry in the sport.

While he also played in Houston with the Texans, he has not mentioned anything about that other former team, however nobody has asked, at least not yet. The Bears play the Packers in Chicago on November 17 and fireworks could be present.

The second meeting between the two teams is in the last week of the season and even with a rookie quarterback, the Bears are looking to fight for a playoff spot, as well as the Packers even if the Detroit Lions are the favorites to take the NFC North.}
