The show served as a talking point for the trio, as they discussed the growing concern of obesity across the United States.

Barkley talked about his experience using Mounjaro and how it helped him lose 65 pounds during his NBA playing days. The topic of conversation also turned to drinking habits, which gave Barkley the opportunity to have some fun.

“I love you more because we can go out and drink tequila anytime,” Barkley told Winfrey. “I go out with this woman [King], she doesn’t even drink. She is no fun whatsoever.”

The moment served to lighten the mood when talking about the topic.

Barkley once played a game drunk

During an appearance on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ back in 2018, Barkley revealed that he once played drunk after celebrating a trade that never happened.

Barkley was told that he was being traded to the Los Angeles Lakers, and as a result be began drinking with friends during the day to celebrate.

However, the trade later got nixed, with Barkley then forced to play for the Philadelphia 76ers.

“I don’t remember anything about that game,” Barkley said. “… I was so pissed, but I was so drunk. I have no idea what happened that game.”

Barkley stated it wasn’t the first time he played while intoxicated, before clarifying that he was hungover on the other occasions.
