Could free agent Paul George join Joel Embiid’s Philadelphia 76ers next season?

Now that Paul George is a free agent and is technically no longer a Los Angeles Clippers player, there are many NBA franchises that might be ibterested in his services. In a reecnt video from the NBA Finals analysis table, Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid shared the table with Paul George and alluded to his team potentially trying to sign him before the start of the season. Embiid is naturally keen on having as many great teammates as possible in order to have a better chance to win an NBA title. Paul George is one of the most talented players in the league but he was dealt a terrible hand during his time at the Clippers with unfortunate injuries. Now that he seems to be recovered, there is still no indication the Clippers will offer him a new contract.

Could Paul George become a Sixer?

As he browses through the many options he has, Paul George has one goal set in his mind and nothing else matters for him. The idea is to sign for a team that has the possibility to fight for trophies. If that team is the Philadelphia 76ers in his mind, then there is a good chance he could play alongside Embiid. But the options are plenty for George, nd he is taking his time in order to see what the most logical decision for his career might be. He was recently on Podcast P with Paul George, and the host wanted to get a quote from him that could give the fans a clue of what his next move might be.

As part of the question, the host of the show directly asked Paul George whathe was planning to do with his career. It was a frontal question from which Paul George could not escape, and it happene on his own show. This is what he said: “I mean, for sure, contributing to winning basketball. But, I mean, at this point, it’s not even necessarily about, like, you know, people chasing a championship. It’s not that. It’s playing the right style of basketball that I’m chasing.” Where do you think the best option for Joel Embiid might be?
