The Dallas Mavericks and Boston Celtics are gearing up for the NBA Finals 2024, which start on Friday. The upcoming best-of-seven series will begin with Game 1 at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts on Friday. If the series goes to seven games, the final showdown will also take place at TD Garden on June 24.
Dallas will host their home games (Games 3, 4, and 6) at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas.

The Celtics are vying for their 18th NBA championship, which would place them ahead of the LA Lakers as the most successful team in NBA history.
Boston last won the Larry O’Brien Trophy in 2008 and reached the finals in 2022, where they were defeated by the Golden State Warriors.
This season, the Celtics have been led by the formidable Jayson Tatum, having dominated the regular Eastern Conference season with a 64-18 record and swept the Indiana Pacers 4-0 in the Conference Finals to reach the championship series.
Meanwhile, the Dallas Mavericks, led by Luka Doncic, entered the Western Conference playoffs as the fifth seed. They upset the fourth-seeded LA Clippers, top-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder, and third-seeded Minnesota Timberwolves to claim the Western Conference title.
This marks the Mavericks’ first return to the NBA Finals in 13 years since their 2011 victory over the Miami Heat, where they secured their sole championship to date with a 4-2 series win.
