Jason Kelce and his wife Kylie Kelce found themselves at the center of a wild encounter with a fan during a recent date night in Margate, New Jersey.

The incident, which was captured on social media, prompted an official apology from the city’s mayor, Michael Collins.

Outraged woman didn’t want Kelces in her town

The Kelces, both beloved by the public, were enjoying an evening out when a female fan approached them, seeking a photo.

After the couple politely declined, the fan’s behavior quickly turned aggressive.

According to reports, the woman began banging on the window of the Kelce’sTesla while they were idling in the parking lot of Steve & Cookies by the Sea, awaiting a parking spot.

When the Kelces refused the photo request, the situation deteriorated further.

The fan allegedly shouted at Kylie Kelce, “I don’t give a f**k who you are, you’ll never be allowed in this town again!”

The altercation drew significant attention, with many witnessing the fan’s erratic behavior.

Margarate Major offered public apology

In response to the incident, Margate’s mayor issued a public apology to the Kelces.

“On behalf of the City of Margate, I’d like to formally apologize to Jason & Kylie Kelce for the experience they had in Margate City over the holiday weekend,”Collins wrote.

“As a father with young children, I know as well as anyone the importance of a date night with your wife and would like to offer a redo date night with dinner on me.”

Despite the chaotic encounter, the Kelces managed to salvage their evening.

“People told me the couple had a lovely evening, laughing and enjoying their meals,” reported PhillyChitChat’sHugh E. Dillon.

While several people acknowledged the couple, the only notable visitor was reportedly Fanatics CEO Michael Rubin, although this detail remains unconfirmed.

The incident sparked a wave of support for the Kelces, with many praising Kylie Kelce for standing her ground.

A video of the confrontation showed her confronting the fan, who appeared to be intoxicated.

“I can smell the alcohol on your breath, you’re embarrassing yourself,”Kylie Kelce is heard saying in the footage.

Jason Kelce, meanwhile, watched from a distance, seemingly calm.

The viral moment has been a topic of discussion among fans and is expected to be addressed in the Kelce brothers’ popular “New Heights” podcast.
