Tyrese Haliburton’s Reggie Miller hoodie adds insult to injury in epic win

The Indiana Pacers pulled off a jaw-dropping upset on Sunday afternoon, sending the New York Knickspacking with a crushing 130-109 victory in Game 7 of the NBA Playoffs Eastern Conference Semis. The Pacers are now set to face the Boston Celtics in the next round, and the drama is just heating up.

Leading the charge was none other than Tyrese Haliburton, who decided to play hero ball and dropped 26 points on an impressive 10 of 17 shooting, including 6 of 12 from beyond the arc. He didn’t stop there, either. Haliburton also snagged four rebounds, dished out six assists, swiped a steal, and even threw in a block for good measure. Talk about a stat-stuffing performance!

But the real headline came after the game when Haliburton waltzed into the post-game press conference sporting a hoodie that had everyone talking. The hoodie in question featured a photo of Pacers legend Reggie Millermaking his infamous choke gesture from the 1994 Knicks-Pacers series. Talk about pouring salt in the wound! Clutch Points wasted no time in sharing the photo on social media, and the internet predictably lost its mind.

Haliburton trolls with epic Reggie Miller hoodie

Tyrese Haliburton is COLD for this. He wore a hoodie with Reggie Miller on it with the choke sign at his presser following the Pacers’ Game 7 win vs. the Knicks,” read the caption that quickly went viral.

When asked about his choice of attire, Haliburton played it cool, claiming he just wanted to be comfy on the flight home. “We text every day. He’s been a great mentor for me,” Haliburton said of his relationship with Miller. “Says he is wearing a Reggie Miller hoodie just because he wants to be comfy on the plane.

Yeah, right. We all know this was a not-so-subtle jab at the Knicks, and honestly, we are here for it. Haliburton‘s swagger is exactly what the NBA Playoffs needed, and we can’t wait to see what kind of fireworks he’ll bring against the Celtics.

Stay tuned, because this playoff run is only going to get wilder!
